In 2019, the art world and Drill scene came together for an unprecedented collaboration against artistic censorship. Russian artist Andrei Molodkin and London Drill musicians Drillminister and Skengdo x AM united for The Media – a project to inspire young people to give their blood to artistic freedom rather than spilling it on the streets. Launched at The Saatchi Gallery, Molodkin invited young people to donate their blood to his sculptural installation Young Blood whilst premiering ‘Political Drills’ – a new track directed by the artist featuring Drillminister and Skengdo x AM.
