A2 poster featuring artwork featuring the work, Inhumanity by kennardphillipps. On 15 December 2021, a/political label presented a special show at The Jazz Cafe celebrating the 10 year anniversary of hip-hop artist and activist Lowkey’s album Soundtrack To The Struggle. For the show, artistic duo kennardphillipps set the stage with their work UNTITLED (IRAQ), whilst a choir dressed in t-shirts emblazoned with work from their series ‘Study For a Head’, performed with Lowkey on iconic songs such as ‘The Ghosts of Grenfell’.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary show at the Jazz Cafe, a limited edition poster was produced, featuring kennardphillipps’ photomontage Inhumanity – an image that comments on the destruction of Syria and refugee crisis with the inhumane front pages of english newspapers. Chosen lyrics from Lowkey’s song ‘Ahmed’ off the Soundtrack To The Struggle album are also featured on the poster.
